Come on guys, everything's bigger in Texas - even the retardation.Seriously, a little more than 1 in 5 people thinks this. Either the Republican propaganda machine is running on all cylinders down there, or the citizenry is just incredibly stupid. My vote is on a little of both, since there is no other way to explain this.

All this finger pointing is seriously lame. Yes, it's unpleasant, but get over it. We've got a seriously divided and uneducated country and the best we can come up with is that Texas sucks? 41% of the people there are voting for Obama. We should be figuring out how to bridge the remaining divides instead of making them deeper.

The problem isn't bad that they think he's a Muslim. The problem is they think being a Muslim is a bad thing.

well... slightly more. I think a small swing state vote is worth the most. Living in a solid red state, my vote is not worth a great deal, except in local and state elections.

I'd love to read the column Molly Ivins would have written on this subject!
