usatoday.com — Imagine you know next to nothing about computers. You're a substitute teacher for a seventh grade class. There's a computer in the classroom and, knowing you're going to be sitting there for a while, you ask a fulltime teacher if you can use it. He logs you in with his password and tells you not to shut it off because you couldn't get back on.

perhaps people should send porn to the staff over there at the middle school to see how uncontrollable it can get.sefain@norwichpublicschools.org is the principle for one. Maybe even the governor or faculty.

Here's an interesting one:"Detective Speaks Out in Teacher Porn Case"<a class="user" href="http://blogs.pcworld.com/tipsandtweaks/archives/003745.html">http://blogs.pcworld.com/tipsandtweaks/archives/003745.html</a>The now-infamous Detective Mark Lounsbury... he whines about everyone complaining at him about this, but does not have much to say in his own defense. Cute.

class' regular teacher logged on to the PC because Julie Amero being a substitute teacher did not have her own id and password. It makes sense that Mr. Napp told Julie not to log-off or shut the computer off, for if she did she and the students would not have access to the computer. That's why smarties...I love it when people read the article before commenting :P

and your obviously a dumb-ass, thus the REAL reason your not a teacher. Here's the reason why shed be on you "smarty""class' regular teacher logged on to the PC because Julie Amero being a substitute teacher did not have her own id and password. It makes sense that Mr. Napp told Julie not to log-off or shut the computer off, for if she did she and the students would not have access to the computer."

OMG how many DUMB-ASSES are going to ask this MOST obvious question about why a sub-teacher would possibly need to use a computer while teaching the students...can you say Der-ta-Der!For those that need it to be spelled out (perhaps even read to them since they obviously cant read) here is the reason why she was logged on: "class' regular teacher logged on to the PC because Julie Amero being a substitute teacher did not have her own id and password. It makes sense that Mr. Napp told Julie not to log-off or shut the computer off, for if she did she and the students would not have access to the computer...there were students using the computer to search out hair styles"Quit obviously, the students that were using the computer, both while the main teacher was still there, and also after under the watch of the sub, were using the computer for their class assignment or research project. The sub was on it for use of email, as stated "The initial user [the student(s)]continued use of the PC and accessed Tickle.com, cookie.monster.com, addynamics.com, and adrevolver.com all between 8:06:14 - 8:08:03 AM. During the next few moments Julie retrieved her email through AOL. <a class="user" href="http://www.hair-styles.org">http://www.hair-styles.org</a> was accessed at 8:14:24 A.M., based upon the hair style images uploaded to the PC we were led to believe that there were students using the computer to search out hair styles." So she quite clearly KNEW they were on it. Whether or not she left the room for a moment is not the thing to focus on, nor imply that the kids were sneaking onto the computer. She quit obviously knew they were already on it, as the students got on after she was finished emailing. That is not what got the situation hairy...it was the fact the the image in the upper left hand corner of the hairsitem, in wich is supposed to rout you back home, when clicked on it links you instead to an external link, you guessed it, to the dirty sites. This is all a matter of no pop-up protection instead of weather or not the kids were pocking around where they shouldn't have been.

I'd like to see malicious prosecution charges against the DA as well. He should not be walking away from this.
