it's amazing how speeding doesn't seem to be dangerous in the pouring rain. all of the speed traps in my city only operate when the sun is shining. seems to me it would be better the other way around.
i also got a ticket on 78. Those troopers are dicks out their in Jersey. Then you go in front of the DA with all the troopers lining the room cracking jokes. you cut a deal and plead guilty to a lessor charge. I tried pleading not guilty the judge sent me back to the DA and said i should just cop a plea. Justice wasnt served i didn't have time to dick around in jersey with all the rescheduling so i conformed to the system.
It isn't just Colorado. It's every f**king state. It's time people got a clue. Our US government is nothing more than half-assed extortionists. I can't wait until we've collectively had enough and destroy the thieves and liars that hide like cowards behind the "law". f**k the police.
Traffic fines are just an illegal form of taxation. Most tickets simply cannot be argued in court, the court will almost always side with the cop. Therefore your RIGHT to NOT be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process is violated. Total bulls**t.
One of the key things a lot of you are missing is the MOTORCYCLE Officer part. Motor units are assigned to traffic ... that is their primary duty. Their job is to monitor traffic and enforce the laws of the road. An average of 2 citations/hour is easy... think about it ... how many obvious violations do you see everyday driving around? And if a Motor Officer is not giving out tickets, then he/she is not doing their job.
