I don't see the houses of people who own the movie companies getting raided WHEN THEY INFRINGE COPYRIGHT..!! Why aren't they getting thrown in jail.. they steal the lord of the Rings story and make a movie.. no money gets paid to the owners of the story?? WTF.. why aren't they in jail?? VIACOM steels my information.. are they going to jail? Viacom.. steals a guys footage.. broadcast it on MTV then try to sue HIM for copyright infringement because he showed the footage of them USING HIS OWN FOOTAGE on youtube.. WTF.. why are they laws being applied selectively?? That is why this is bulls**t..you can break the law as long as you own a huge media conglomerate.. fantastic

I truly am glad we have laws to protect corporate rights. I must have forgotten the purpose of our government is to put the interests of profits and corporations ahead of the personal freedoms of its citizens.Like I said, I believe it is a right for me to record anything I experience for my own personal use. I feel such laws violate this right. Just because I could violate copyright law doesn't mean I should have to forfeit my rights to protect it. Remember when they attempted to ***OUTLAW*** VCRs because they had the potential to violate copyright law? Thank god this mentality didn't prevail back then.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_Corp._v._Univers ...I believe that any device capable of recording my personal experiences falls under this ruling. Any law, such as the one you presented, goes against this ruling.I believe a theater has the right to ask anyone to leave their property, and if they do not leave, they should be arrested for trespassing. Having the police arrest him for recording something, without proof he intends to distribute such a recording, to me is wrong. And breaking into his house afterwards is sickening.
