I love plurk! It is confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it's fun. I see it more like msn/instant messaging because the reply feature works exactly like it. So I can have conversations with multiple people at once. When one topic gets old someone plurks something new and then a new conversation starts. :DI can't live without it now... especially when I'm at my boring job... I talk to my friends while they're at work too. It's more discreet than having IMs all over my screen. :)
both are good now door is opened for a great ap dev. guru to build a utility to see and manage both at the same time in the same place Hey kinda sounds a bit like friendfeed. (they don't pull plurks but maybe) only problem with plurk is if you say take a weekend off, you get a scolded with karma loss.

Twitter vs Plurk? -> Ping.fm and do them all at once (including jaiku, identica, and whatever else comes out)

Try chasr.us. Its kind of like twitter, but with the ability for longer posts and pics and things. It's still in a pretty early beta though.

Plurk is too heavy and busy. It's not an improvement, especially on mobile platforms.
