ps3week.com — PS3week has an interview with the Sony artist who was fired for his opinion of the PS3: "I started off very excited about PS3. I was very confident that it was going to destroy the XBOX 360 just on the name SONY alone. The more time that goes by the more I’m becoming doubtful. Everything I’ve developed or seen developed has yet to be next gen."

afrazkhan, I suppose you don't have a job then. When you get a great job working at a major company like Sony, getting fired for just saying something isn't a minor thing. This dude has no JOB. So, f**k you.I own a 360, and although it's amazing, there are no games for it. Microsoft will pay for this since there are probably going to be a bunch of great launch titles for the PS3. If you are looking forward to a PS3, you probably don't have to worry about the console, Sony wouldn't bring out a s**tty console.

He is not saying something about the PS3, because he said that the PS3 don't even exists, so he can be saying anything good or bad about it, he only had contact with PS3Dev kits, and never, I say Never will be the same to play with a DevKit and the console itself !, and always when somebody is fired, (because something you did wrong inside a company) you'll feel a big hate for it... anyways is just ONE person against PS3 (for the obvious), and it would be the same if he had worked for the 360.

Sony has been falling apart. It seems that a good deal of sony's future is being placed in the PS3. Sony needs to do something that doesn't make the masses pissed off at them (rootkits + false reviews)

I'm still excited about the Xbox 1.0 I got last November. No console is truly "next gen" when it launches. I've seen 6 or 7 360 games and they look good but I wouldn't say they were a whole generation ahead of anything on the Xbox. Time will tell.

Project Offset is being developed for PC and that is what this engine demo is for. The Offeset guys said that they are trying to get it to BOTH the 360 and the PS3 also. Your point has no bearing. Why does it always seem like a lot of gamers circle jerk around the concept of "next gen" graphics? All three systems are going to look amazing and they should because they have better technology. Is that truly next generational?. The true next generation involves things such as online integration, AI, Social interaction with other gamers and other elements that actually effect the gameplay. Until HD-DVD and Blu-ray are needed for gameplay reasons, all they do is drive up a machine that should be used to play games.

"I got my 360 the other day and I find myself playing Gauntlet more than any other game...Who cares about hw and graphics....its all about gameplay."says the Nintendo fanboy
