Well...3ds Max is pretty simple, and Cinema 4D is incredibly simple to use. The problem is they are expensive to get, Cinema 4D not so much. Blender suffers from a poor interface design, and a community of people that refuse to take an honest look at it. This makes for a hella learning curve and the need to CONSTANTLY search tutorials. I use Blender/3ds Max/Maya. Blender is good for fast and simple animations, while 3ds Max is what you use for super realistic renders. Maya is best creating CG that will be merged later into video.
