iplinux.siteburg.com— Here's a guide that should help people who want to install iPodLinux, and use their newest Video Player on their 4G iPod. I've had no problems so far, hope this goes well for you guys.

i instlaled this and it broke my ipod min (4gb). I cant fix it either, all i see is the apple logo and i cant turn my ipod off or anything. And when i connect it to my computer it is not detected. I basically cant do anything now except wait for the batteries to die out. These things a really experimental and i recommend not wasting your ipod on them.
2g minis *are* supported, just not officially. color ipods don't work (apple replaced my broken grayscale 4g with a color 4g, but locked the apple os to only display grayscale. linux displays some pretty whack colors when I try to boot it, though)
I think it should be noted that you CANNOT just play any video on your iPod -- you have to decompress the video (which can result in 3 minutes of video ballooning to over a gigabyte). The only really useful thing in iPodLinux is the audio recorder, which is better than any commercial iPod app.

According to ipodlinux.org/blog, their site was recently attacked, they should be back up soon though.

You probably used an older build. If you had read about it, the 2g minis are not supported.
