There will still be many more people buying the xbox360 and the ps3 though. Even though the Wii has got its fancy controller people will look at it and be like "wow that looks stupid, i never liked Nintendo since they came out with that s**tty game cube." The controller looks so different from all of what people are used to they wont like it, most arent going to quickly check out the specs to find out how the controller works. Itll at least take a few average joes to buy one and show their buddies and then they might think about getting one. If nintendo didnt frick up with their gamecube they would have a better chance in competeing with the ps3 and xbox360. Stumpadoodle- ive lost in the ps3 too, but i have been hearing about it on here for a while, alot of people have no idea that there have been so many set backs and changes for the worse.
I know I'll probly get blasted for this but aren't you guys being a wee bit pessimistic? For one thing I'm guessing that there will be a way of turning it off so you can play normally, unlike the Wii (as far as I know) which seems to pretty much completely rely on it, what happens if you get home, are tired and jsut want to do something non energetic? thats the Wii out of the window then. Also surely the idea of cherrypicking the best things from each system is good? Finally are you honestly saying that the gamecube or N64 had better gameplay than the PS2? Or that you bought the PS2 solely because it had a rumble-pack controller? no, I thought not
Why can't they make it work? The Wiimote has vibration ("force feedback") and it acts like a laser pointer for lightsaber battles. Sony is charging $600 and they can't do either? Then what are they good for?---- Your stupid, and I'll tell you whyThe PS3's motion sensor is built into the controller, and senses when a gyroscope inside of it moves. The wii's controller uses sensors that you place around you that can see which way the controller is facing. And if you want the damn force feedback feature so bad, then just buy an adapter for an old controller, or buy that third party controller thats coming out for the PS3 that has both the "rumble" and Six Axis motion sensing features. All of you people should stop being idiots, NO ONE CARES WHAT SYSTEM YOU LIKE BEST, just buy it or not and get one with your life, ok, its not that hard.

Voila... damn that sucks. Screw the rediculous awkward looking motion, I want the rumble back!

As much I as I enjoy vibration function in a controller, I'll gladly trade it for a one that isn't a boomerang. :P

Umm.. yes there is. 1. They got sued for the vibration they did. 2. The vibration screws with the motion sensitivity.

"I get the feeling I will be exhausted after playing with my Wii for 10 minutes."If you're serious you need to get the hell in shape.
