carblog.co.za — “Project Lydia” is the new street-legal car that Bugatti is supposed to work on to make it faster than the Veyron. Though it’s just on paper right now, it is supposed to use a 12-cylinder engine that sports some 1,175 hp and tops at 400km/h (248 mph).

So by faster, you mean slower?

Yeah, Veyron tops out at 252MPH (407.6 KPH), so this is slower. I'm guessing it will be much lighter though, what with at 12 cylinder rather than a 16 cylinder. And the new one will have 174hp more than the Veyron.
