She's probably celliac, just like me. We can't have wheat because we're allergic to a protein found in it called gluten. It really sucks being a celliac, your diet is sooo restricted.

I am gluten intolerant as well. There is so much frustration with this illness. I get violently ill from a microscopic amount of the stuff. It sucks. No one knows what it is like to never be able to go out to eat, and to constantly worry about being poisoned. Even worse, relatives are rarely supportive and could not care less. People look at you like you are crazy when you have to worry about every little thing. It is either that or have the dry heaves until you feel like your sides will emplode. What would you pick? You cannot function, and it is debilitating.
