arstechnica.com — The Pirate Bay trial wrapped up Tuesday in Sweden as the defendants claimed that their site is nothing more than a piece of Internet infrastructure. The verdict comes down in April, but for now, the defendants are off to "party."

actually that's the opposite of reality, but otherwise... a fine point.

personally, I would like to be reimbursed by hollywood for the s**tty movies I've downloaded, watched 20 mins, realized it was complete and utter s**t, and deleted before even 1/3 of the way through the movie. the trailer misled me to think that the movie would be good, and I would like to be compensated for the time they stole from me, and the bandwidth I wasted on such utter s**t. *cough* max payne *cough*

I would say more along the line of IF Pirate Bay is found guilty, they will have a total break down of the judicial system in Sweden. Under Sweden law a individual has to be proven guilty, not maybes or possibly or remotly, proven. Watching the proceedings unfold not only do they not have ANY proof at all as required by law in Sweden, they hardly have enough of a CASE for it to even remain in court here in the US where the courts are corrupt and on the payroll.Young and old alike, not even caring about the case itself will revolt against a obvious corrupt system. They don't play in Sweden, if Pirate Bay is found guilty, expect some serious news to happen.
