online.wsj.com— New U.K. calculations suggest that, in the worst-case scenario, 63,000 people could die after contracting the A/H1N1 swine flu virus in the first wave of the pandemic.

Here is a quote from two-time Nobel prize winner Linus Pauling:"I have advocated the use of Vitamin C in amounts of several grams per day to prevent or treat the common cold and other infectious diseases, including influenza, and I think that it may be of importance in relation to the expected epidemic of swine flu that people not be discouraged from making proper use of this valuable substance."
We've already had a few people off work with it, and I heard via Facebook that there's an outbreak at the junior school I went to (scarily enough people I grew up with now have kids there).
The plan is to sucker the public into getting enough people vaccinated to where it will explode. There are enough other toxins in there to kill you even if the flu doesn't. Anybody who takes these vaccines is suicidal.
What are you talking about? According to the WHOs official figures: deaths / confirmed cases = 433/94492 = 0.46%.The UK's population is about 61,000,000, 0.46% of that is 275,000. Of course, not everybody is going to get the disease, various news sources have said there is worry up to 1/3rd of the population could get the disease, making it about 91,647. I'm not saying there will be that many fatalities, but as an upper bound, it certainly allows the 63,000 figure to be plausible.
It probably won't be a lot higher, but swine flu is shaping up to be this year's seasonal flu. It has the added bonus of being a new strain meaning it will potentially infect more people than your typical seasonal flu. It might not be any more virulent than a typical seasonal flu, but if it were to infect a higher number of people, the death toll will be higher (although not necessarily the deaths per infections)

.1 percent isn't that bad, 6.26 percent of the UK population voted BNP in the 2009 EU election - which is worse...
