Another, overturned, contains an extinguished candle which, having burned up the oxygen, created a vacuum that sucked water inside. The water in the bottom ( top of the inverted glass ) was "sucked" in from the shallow dish due to pressure differences.It's the condensation in the glass that comes from the burning.
