Killing birds is a moot point because these things move so slow that any bird that does hit them most likely deserves to be "darwinized" for its mental retardedness.Fish spawning and people running into them is another problem.

Yeah, the Earth doesn't need saving, we are the ones that need saving. The planet isn't going to vaporize once the average global temperature reaches 110 degrees Fahrenheit, we are, along with a bunch of animals.

Seems like a great idea to me, for the obvious benefits to the environment and being in such a secluded location. The only problem that I could forsee is if one gets knocked down (which will eventually happen) where will it go and how fast will people react to clean up the mess. Along with that, any boat in that area looks like will come in very close contact with these since they are in a long line stretching looks to be miles across.
