wired.com — His shots of 189 secret spy satellites are the subject of a new exhibit -- despite the fact that, officially speaking, the satellites don't exist. The Other Night Sky, on display at the University of California at Berkeley Art Museum through September 14, is only a small selection from the 1,500 astrophotographs Paglen has taken thus far.

check http://www.heavens-above.com/ you get the time that "documented" satellites will fly over your location. I've seen a ton of them and it's pretty cool when you know what to look for. I've also seen a couple then gone back to this site and there's no record of them. One time I saw a pair flying on a polar orbit one following the other by about 2 degrees. You'd think this be in the database since it's a binary fly by but nope... The looking at the first image on the gallery... I'm like WOW! THERE'S MY SATELLITES!

Try Google Earth and note the blurred grainy texture of regions we aren't supposed to see.

the ion thrusters are what i was referring to, however they don't work very fast now that i think about it. more applicable to long distance space travel than quick accelerations/ changing paths

That's great and all. I have hobbies too. But just taking a picture of a small random thing with nothing else to prove it is what I say it is.... is kinda boring and a waste of my time.I'm not saying it's not what he said it is, I just don't know how he knows and I want him to tell me, prove to me it is what he says it is.
