Let's be clear in our definitions. Marxism is a philosophy, Communism is a political ideology. Marx made a fatal flaw in his belief that a true "people owned" society could exist. That flaw was "people". People will always seek to better themselves by gaining power over others. This is why communism will NEVER EVER work, because it relies on the virtue of people to keep it pure and that will never happen. Power in the hands of government will ALWAYS be abused. Christ, just look at what's happening in this country right now.

Like guns, they aren't evil in themselves, but when people brandish them in abusive ways it often precipitates disastrous outcomes.
