hmmm... let me see. I can either take the advice of the Generals in the field or some puke - comfortable in Moms basement, sitting behind a computer screen posting an article... hmmm.. tough call... I guess I'll have to err on the side of common sense and side with the Generals who are actually there. For some reason, the turd posting this article doesn't quite have the same level of integrity as a General who has spent his life in honor of his country.
It means Petraeus is taking the blame for it not working. The surge wasn't his idea (no really, it wasn't) but he'll say what a great idea it was, if he knows what's good for him.
I don't blame Petraeus at all. I think it's all Bush's fault for starting this stupid, doomed war. And Rumsfeld for screwing it up. Oh and Cheney for making money off all of it.
A real shame that someone like Petraeus, who I'm sure is an excellent general, gets thrust into the spotlight to take attention away from those with the real power. If the surge doesn't work, whose fault is it?

It always seemed to me that Marsellus Wallace was enjoying it, just a little.

Wallace's gratitude for his "anal pleasures" was deeply expressed with a shotgun, pliers and a blow torch. On second thought, he was NOT enjoying it.
