boingboing.net— The EFF's gotten 73,000 of the 100,000 signatures it's seeking for a petition on the recording industry's insane campaign of suing thousands of music fans. 27,000 more to go!

This was posted earlier! Not that it matters, but the weird thing is, when it was posted earlier, I think there were 80,000+ signatures. Did they lose a few thousand?
they probably did, not the least of which were a large number from an E. Pressley in Tennessee, many from Y. Mom in many states, and hundreds from M. Mouse in Florida and California.Obviously, these had to go.
Why is 'account' on every RIAA digg article posing as a an anti-piracy, RIAA ass licker?Artists make enough money as it is. That's too bad if '50 cent' can't buy his 3rd private jet because some people don't buy his music. If I bought music, my entire collection (50 GB) would surely cost thousands. Something I don't have.

Why can't we kill the RIAA's website? Where's that hacker who took down Blue Frog?

I said something like this last time this was on Digg:Basically, the EFF is just saying "Go f**k youreselves!" to the RIAA.

My gut reaction was to digg this but after thinking about it, I believe it is better to reform the law that allows the RIAA to do this.
