humblelibertarian.com — There is expectation that Peter Schiff --- the Austrian School economist and owner of Euro Pacific Capital who predicted the current economic collapse all the way back in 2006 --- will announce next week on "The Daily Show" that he will be running for the U.S. Senate in Connecticut against incumbent Senator (and banking committee chair) Chris Dodd.

And I'll note that this is just expectation, not guarantee. A post at http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showpost.php?p=215543 ... says the Senate announcement is coming a few weeks from now.But the sooner the better, Peter. Run!

Peter Schiff is worried that the government's policies are going to result in an inflationary depression. It seems that doing everything he can to prevent this from occurring would be most in line with his principles.Ron Paul showed us what one member of congress is capable of doing - his HR 1207 has somehow gained the support of nearly half of the house. I think Schiff has a very real chance of at least bringing a little actual change to Washington and he wouldn't have to abandon his principles to do it.

Actually America has been blocking a peace agreement between South and North Koreans. Our satraps in the South Korean government may say we are needed, but most Korean people disagree. They would be happy to see us leave.

This will be fun to watch another crash-and-burn candidacy.Methinks the IRS and FBI need to investigate Schiff a little more. Something stinks about this guy and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he is somehow involved with his tax cheat anti-american father (who's now rightfully in jail)
