gamespot.com — Jackson announced that Ubisoft, not EA, would be developing and publishing the game version of his remake of King Kong, due out December 14. However, the primary reason Jackson, an avid gamer, gave was perfectly plausible. He said he wanted to work with Ubisoft producer Michel Ancel after playing the acclaimed but unpopular Beyond Good and Evil.

Goldeneye for the N64 is the only movie-based video game I can think of that didn't suck. May I even go as far to say as the game was a lot more enjoyable than the movie? Yes, I think I will say that.

I dont blame him. The LOTR games were rushed and sucked. The Beyond good and Evil game was fun as hell and felt like a good movie, a wierd one at that.
