This is just bulls**t. It was a $240million investment which is hardly a high valuation. The problem here is facebook management's assertion that this investment places "facebook's valuation at $15billion". This valuation has no merit in the business world, but will be used to justify granting fewer options to facebook employees. After all, they will now claim to their 300 employees that 0.0001% stakes are worth millions where in fact they are not. It's a sad day for facebook recruitment efforts.
