There is a ton of blind hatred over HFCS, and I really don't know why.Even after all the enzymatic processing and whatnot, isn't HFCS basically just a blend of fructose and glucose?Regular sucrose ('natural' sugar) is also a combination of fructose and glucose.Fructose is fructose, and glucose is glucose. It doesn't matter how it was formed, it still has the exact same chemical makeup.HFCS may have different percentages of each, instead of sugar's 50/50 of both. This should really be the only difference between them. I don't see how this would be bad.
Mountain Dew throwback actually gave me mouth sores. Not sure why, as I have no problems with other cane sugar sodas. It may have been the brominated vegetable oil. When you are all done with the barrage of herpes jokes, I'd be curious if anyone else had the same happen.
