slate.com — There must be a legion of Twitterers out there who sign up, tweet once, and never return. In the spirit of the great blog One Post Wonder, "a collection of blogs that have one post," we set out to find these orphaned tweets.

This is so freakin' true. Cause in the end, who the hell wants to tweet every god damn thing they are doing? And here's a little fact: NO one gives a s**t what most of you are doing ..so stop posting!!!

Same. Probably a lot more people that belong in this group than the "1 post" group.

Who wants blog garbage? On Twitter I usually get a tiny blurb and a link to the relevant content. I don't want to hear some self-aggrandizing idiot spew on about it for 1000 words before I get the goods.

Twitter's f**king great with spreading panic and misinformation, not news.

6MB isn't much, no, but when you realize that people are forwarding these emails to 20+ of their friends, they're suddenly needlessly utilizing 120MB worth of internet juice when most of the recipients probably aren't even going to watch it, it's wasteful.

This is decent because it does explain how it is "ambient" which is a strength, but it's still emphasizing that "What are you doing" stuff which is not the best way to use it. This stuff shouldn't be buried in an about page either. It should be a big link on the site for users not logged in or new users. There should be an index of twitter clients with reviews. They hardly ever mention on the site that you can access twitter via all kinds of devices and computer applications.
