"0" year pres aside, let's hope that doesn't happen.. such an act would be the needed "martyr" to really crack down on civil rights and make things worse. It would top even 9/11 for the political opportunists that brought you "patriot". It's the perfect cap to get the public all fired up to hand over their privacy and sons to war.

This article is very eye-opening. It makes more sense as to why the Bush cabal thinks Iraq is a success. The building of mega bases - I had no idea - was their sole intention (and thats where the money has gone). If you really listen to what the neocons say, read between the lines, watch the body english - they have no intention of bringing peace and stability to the region. They want utter chaos and bring down governments from within. Bin laden's reason for 9/11 was he despised the states for having bases in Saudi Arabia. Now the US has strategic bases in which to wage war (and terror) on all neighbouring countries. The insanity of the Bush admin now makes sense, when you think of their long term intentions. How will other countries fight back? Look forward to way more terrorist attacks globally and locally, since homeland security is an underfunded farce. Another way they will fight back is to deal in oil in Euros, not dollars. Watch the dollar plummet.

George Bush told his biographer in 1999 that he wanted to be a war President so that no one could question him. The war in Iraq was planned long before 9/11 (which was carried out by our own government) just like the upcoming war with Iran. All they need to do now is to stage another false flag terror attack to get the american people on board. So if a nuke goes off in Chicago or New York don't look at Tehran, look at the people who have the real motive to go to war. Look at the crimminals in Washington.

augie1969: "If we invade Iran, I wonder what the justification would be."Maybe something along Gulf of Tonkin that was used to start Vietnam war. And that incident didnt really even happen! Nothing prevents US from torpedoing some ship of their own and blaming it on Iran, then retaliating for that. Wars have been started like that for ever.Like how Soviet Russia started the war against Finland in WW 2 - They shelled their own village of Mainila, then blamed it on Finland and attacked. (Wikipedia - Mainila shelling)If theres a will, theres a way. Sadly. And judging from the lies that were used to start Iraq war, against common resistance to the idea (like biggest worldwide demonstrations in the history of humankind!), they are willing to do whatever they please.
