You have to watch closely. The first thing to note is when the stack is first picked up to show the cups are "empty", there is actually a ball in the top cup that is dumped into his palm. Then when he puts the cup down he slides it under the cup. The rest you can see if you watch closely
The circle of magic were foolish to throw them out.This in itself is a trick, they show it with clear cups, explaining each move, but the genius is, no matter how many times you'll watch it, the hell if you're going to know how to do it.
