I also like how she talks about the raids on sweat shops as "In the middle of the night"! That's priceless!!! They do raid these criminally run establishments whenever there are people working! And as far as "taking them away from their families" she's right.... We should round them up and send them packing, too! No more of this "Anchor Baby" Bullsh*t!
Im a liberal, though not a Pelosi fan. However, it sounds like Fox saw a bunch of brown people and simply assumed they were a bunch of illegals. Even the story says "legals and illegals".
No, the taking our jobs argument is not bulls**t, total or partial. If an illegal immigrant is doing a job, it is a job that a legal immigrant or citizen could be doing.
Oh, and let's boot Pelosi and Reid out of office....a pox on them all...let's get leaders in Congress who put the concerns and future of the American people first, foremost, and center...American jobs for Americans.... repeal HB-1 visas and let those employers so eager to hire HB 1 white collar foreign 'temporary' workers leave the USA.and live in these 'great' places with such 'smart' cheap labor...ban outsourcing to foreign companies/foreign countries/etc. or make it so expensive and complicated, few will pursue this nefarious path which is one of the primary tools of business to undermine labor and the US economy, i.e. kills the velocity of money...money goes outside the country where it is spent generating wonderful economic growth (i.e. China) outside of the USA! Let's have a few decades or more of protecting Americans and America .... how radical a thought, Pelosi and Reid!

And your ancestors? They came from an ugly unproductive non-contributing country to come to the US? Why did your ancestors leave the country they came from? If there were problems why didn't they stay in their own damn country and fix those problems? What a piss-poor argument! There are law-abiding immigrants from Mexico- just like from any other country in the world- who have an equal right to come here. If the system to process them is broken, it is not their fault, it is our government's that makes them illegal by default. I guess helping out Europe during the WWII made us into imperialists in their eyes? Oh wait, they were white people, that's different.
Pelosi is right on when it comes to our southern neighbors from Mexico, because the "border" goes back to 1848, when the U.S. stole half of Mexico (525K sq. mi.) at gunpoint, paid them peanuts to make it look legal, then sealed off the border and erected a de facto apartheid based on race, leaving a sawed-off country unable to sustain more than subsistence agriculture. 160 years later, and their pop. is way too big for the farmland, ergo, here they come over the border.The U.S. started it the problem, and can end it too, by formally inviting the people of Mexico to dissolve their ever-corrupt govt. and join the U.S. as the "51st state", giving the U.S. another 760K sq. mi. of territory, including 5.8K mi. of coastline, which will no doubt prove attractive to "gringos" to move to and set up new cities, raising the GDP and creating new jobs at all levels.Google "Megamerge Dissolution Solution" to read my well thought-out proposal, which the Obama admin. can implement in only 5 years.
