I think more people have been a victim of inflated 360, PS3 and Wii pricing than of eBay/PayPal.Its hard for me to feel sorry for people that are trying to price gouge me.

PayPal just keeps getting worse and worse. They basically did the same thing to me after my BROTHER ran into the red at eBay. Somehow they linked his account to mine (probably due to the fact that they were registered at the same address, although his actual home address was somewhere else) and restricted my account. To make a long story short, they never lifted the restriction, despite the fact that all monies owed were paid, and ended up closing the account after that. I'd been a PayPal user since it went online, had well over 700+ positive transactions on my eBay seller account, etc. but none of that made any difference. I tried resolving it for 8 months, but I gave up, because no one would listen.If anyone needs an alternative, BidPay has now become much more PayPal-like. <a class="user" href="http://www.bidpay.com">http://www.bidpay.com</a>

*Update: after 2 and a half weeks, my account was finally reactivated. if you're in this situation stick to your guns and keep calling paypal. ask to speak to a supervisor if the CSR can't help you (they're pretty useless really and just tell you to email somebody else). I finally got a supervisor who sent my account back to review and whoever decided to review it the second time realized I did nothing wrong.DON'T GIVE UP!

I realize this thread is pretty old now, but I just had to ask - soulhuntre - what exactly do you mean by your post on 12/7 ? Are you saying you can use the Paypal account with only your debit card or with direct deposit too? I've read that there are ways to prevent Paypal from going into your bank account, but all the banks I ask don't seem to have that option. They say as soon as you give them your bank details, you're forked, and subject to all kinds of NSF fees. Of course you can dispute the NSF to say you didn't authorize, but the banks are telling me you're giving them authorization by giving them your routing number.
