Maybe they're making a new 360 because the old one has so many problems?I've been through 4 360's the week following christmas so I decided not to purchase one till they fixed whatevers going wrong with them. It's ridiculous that you have to invest in the one year warranty.Yes warrantys are great and all but I shouldn't have to be sending an xbox back every few months.

Why was this show called Windows Weekly when all they talked about was Apple products and Steve Jobs keynote. People really need to stop stroking Steve Jobs penis because im sure he's sore by now. The xbox360 should be capable of IPTV as is, modified xbox1's are capable of IPTV right now. And a bigger hard drive doesnt require a new console. Hopefully this report is wrong.

Is Microsoft going to continue to support version 1 of the 360 or are they going to abandon it like they did with the original Xbox?

No way this is true. Microsoft would be stupid to alienate 10 million plus current owners from using IPTV!

I have sent my xbox 360 back to MS twice already. I got it in march and it broke in early October, so i sent it back to MS and they sent me a new one (refurbished), But the one they sent me was also broke so i had to send that one back. The one i have now works great with no problems.

MS hasnt dropped the $400 price b/c it doesnt need to right now (plus they're offering more incentives through the retailers like the free accessories & games). I picked up my 360 early December when Micro Center was offering the $100 rebate and then another 360 when Toys R Us was giving an instant $100 gift card during the holiday season (sold this one). Right now Circuit City is offering a free game and there's a $40 off $200 coupon floating around which knocks the price down to $360+free game which isnt that bad (sometimes they offer a free wireless controller)They wont stop supporting 360v1 customers since its still a 360... The IPTV should just be a software update to the Xbox Dashboard which can be easily downloaded to the 360v1 users, but they'll have to upgrade their hard drives if they want to save more data since 13gb wont save muchMS is willing to take a loss on the system (they've done so alrdy) so when v2 comes out with the larger HD, MS will be eating a loss again on each system (right now they're making some money from the system, but in return they're offering more incentives to retailers to sell) plus Gears of War is a top seller right now and Halo 3 will be their next top seller when it comes out in late-2007
