The reason for my comment was a desire to avoid turning RP into a sort of demogouge himself.If it were possible for RP to be elected while the majority of Americans still believed in big government at home and intervention abroad, we might as well put any other candidate into office (I honestly believe the front runners are inter-changeable - Dem or Repub mattering little). The goal of the Ron Paul movement should be to change minds not just to sell the man.

Ron Paul will be remembered above all the rest of the politicians of our time. I fear for his safety right now. He is making a lot of professional politicians (spit) nervous. Many would like to silence Dr. Paul and would stop at nothing to do it.

This is certainly the most important speech--for the bulk of American--by a politician in the past 30 years. It should be referred to every newspaper editor as the model of government most people desire if only they had not been dumbed down by our government's schools. This may be the most important speech of my generation. It's hard not to get caught up with the MAN himself simply because he is so level headed in his thought, so clear and concise, historically accurate, and of course principle driven. Yes, a true patriot. We must get behind him, we must stay behind him, we must support him with our pocketbooks. I do believe he is an extremely long shot but there is no one else even close to deserving a look.Right now, he is the voice of our Republic!
