Heh. I stood next to one of my customers the other day while he called Comcast. He had just moved to a new house (taking his Comcast service with him) and the Comcast Activation "Wizard" kept hanging on the "Verifying Network" stage. Three separate calls and four transfers (on the final call) later, we got his modem's MAC address re-provisioned on their network. It's a miracle they're still in business.
