huffingtonpost.com — As 60 Minutes was putting its show together, the White House put pressure on CBS - the parent company - to kill the show. During the 60 Minutes broadcast and ONLY during the Don Siegelman portion - the screen went black for Huntsville residents and Mobile residents. Karl Rove may be gone from office, but he clearly is not gone from power.

Well the story does say they re-aired it later, so it wasn't really inaccurate.

Yes the Constitution was made to be amended but only to strenghten the original document from loopholes, not to impede on the principles for which it stands. The Constitution is just common sense that everyone can understand. If politicians are so willing to amend and reverse the basic rules of the Constitution then why don't they just rewrite it?You add a leg to a table to make it sturdier not remove one. I don't understand why people are so willing to forgo these basic rules with comments like:"But you have to realise the Constitution isn't the holy doctrine of the United States, it was written by mere men, politicians, a long time ago when life and the globe were very different. How could it possibly have been written to apply to a world centuries in the future?"First off:Yes it is!And it applies because the basic rights of (Free Speech, Gun Rights to protect against Foreign and Domestic enemys incuding the US Government, Fair Trial, Right to privacy. How do these not apply a hundred years from now or even a thousand years from now? Those who don't listen to history are doomed to repeat it. It's the simple logic of:Learn from your mistakes.

Don't worry. Most college students are very cloistered in academia, and know s**t-all about how to live and get along in real life.

Attn: Stupid f**ks:There will be no revolution. "The people" lack the balls, inclination, and means to even get small changes made, let alone a revolution.Sorry. You'll just have to learn to deal with the world you have, rather than hope for a vauge "revolution" to make it all better.
