It is not being negitive it is being relieved that she is going to be treated like me or the next person and frankly if my brother or friend had done this and they were going to jail I couldn't be mad about it because they broke the law. You have to be held accountable for your actions. If you stand in court and sign documents saying that you are going to be good you should be!!! Its her own fault.
No no molly... You missed my point. I'm not saying she deserves to be treated any differently... It's not that simple. I believe everyone should be treated equally. Thought I should point that out in case anyone else is not clear on that. Like I said technically "she got what was coming to her" in the eyes of the law... but that doesn't mean everyone should start scrutiny fest 2007. The problem is that people are a product of their environments... and personally I believe that a negative environment won't do anyone any good. I think if enough people are negative about these situations then you can create a negative environment and honestly I'd even consider it a form of abuse. Not directly... but still indirect abuse from the public can add up quickly no doubt. Sure you can be like "F them they don't know me"... but that doesn't stop the negativity from being there... it's still there. Just think about it for a second: which kid is going to be better off?... the kid that gets called a dumb ass every time he/she messes up? or a kid that gets encouragement and positive feedback? That's how I view it... and so whatever I'm sure a lot of people would still say "but it's not negative" but arguing isn't the point here... I don't want to change your mind... I just thought I'd a least give you a chance to understand why it seems negative to me.
caiser05... apparently you've misinterpreted me.I totally believe she should have to answer for her crimes. I never said that she shouldn't be held responsible for her actions.I just don't think the public needs to be so hard on her and so critical of the situation... and sure that's probably not realistic because so many people like to gossip and chastise others... but that doesn't mean I have to like it. To me it's like keep your nose in your own business... you know... it's like seriously wtf do you care and why are you criticizing someone you don't even know.
After reading alot of comments, and after making a couple of comments about this. You have just said it all perfect. The truth that is. Money or no money she's doing sum jail time so justice has been served as far as i'm concerned.

Why do people even care about Paris Hilton when there is real news to be heard? Anyone hear about hurricane/cyclone Gonu? Of course not, because some stupid drunk driving unattractive fool dominates the headlines on BBC and CNN. http://sadaboutgonu.blogspot.com http://sadaboutgonu.blogspot.com/2007/06/sad-about-gonu-please-share-your.html
