Apparently, the pants found by searchers, which had led some to speculate that James was suffering from "paradoxical stripping", a symptom of late stage hypothermia, were not the pants he was wearing when he left. The grey pants found may have been layered over his jeans.

They made an error that others have made before. If the road is so freaking dangerous maybe there should have been signs if not blockades to keep cars out. People from outside the area looking at a map or GPS have no way of knowing what the line on the page or screen represents road condition wise. All you keyboard quarterbacks need to take a step back.

@nepawoodsI stand corrected on the signage issue. Were the signs in this condition last weekend? Maybe they should just say "Road Closed from Nov.1" or whatever date makes sense.I'll be interested to hear how the decision was made to take this road if we ever find out.
