maxconsole.net — A collective group of hackers including the likes of Dark_Alex, Noobz and Booster have released a new piece of software which will replicate the exact functions of Sony's Jigkick battery (even better) - that means it is now possible for homebrew enabled PSP's to UNBRICK and DOWNGRADE their systems at their own will.

ahh either Google "Homebrew psp" go away....

That's because you need to run them from a command liine. Type "cmd" without the quotes in Run.

yeah, but i still have 3.52 on my only psp. i dont have a way to get this thing working, no one around me has CFW. and with the release of this, they wont be making a downgrader for every incremental OFW, so im pretty bummed.

LOL and now the Undiluted Platinum Chip is not worth a single buck anymore....
peacekeeper81Aug 26, 2007
just saying that i cant run any cfw any ideas to fix the problem.
peacekeeper81Aug 29, 2007
got two of them to unbrick pandora way and neither one of them will run a cfw. one is a ta 082 and the other is a ta 086 or what ever the other is that the keys dont reconfigure. right when you start to run the cfw update it has running prx files through ram. it sit there for a while then shut off. but thats it. i dont get it.
peacekeeper81Sep 5, 2007
yes it does but afterwards the sony fw updated no problem but the custom fw didnt on the oe version couldnt open the prx files which you need to update to the m33 cfw, that i thought. but by using the pandoras battery you can dump someones else m33 firmware and install it. you dont even have to downgrade anymore or change the key configuration. it works also.

huh? the domain, playstation.com, is owned by sony and they put up a guide on their website even though they're against homebrew development? something smell fishy here..
