news.designtechnica.com — Kind of an odd size for a plasma. You will be able to get the TH-58PX600U and TH-58PX60U TV's for under $6,000 dollars which isn't that bad considering the size of these beasts. They both have 2 HDMI inputs (so they will be Blu-ray and HD-DVD compatible) and SD memory card slots.

This is great...60" is just too bigSeriously though, the TV has some good features but I personally will not be investing in a TV that cant do 1080p. (I dont plan on upgrading for a couple more years so no worries)

I bet the are 1080P compatible. I don't think manufacturers selling a TV for this much would be using the older resolutions. No one would buy this if that was the case.

I meant to say 1080P native. This TV, as with most Plasmas, only has 768 rows of pixels.

Gotcha, yeah I notice a lot of TV's are like this. Hitachi is 1024x1024 which is not native either.
