um? Has Palm flipped their lid? This is kind of weird. It's seems to be a prototype based on missing parts (logos), black tape and marker on the case. That being said, it's odd they would send them out for people to play with. Palm did imply they were going to shelf the product (temporarily?) while they rethink their major products (PDAs, smartphones) before stepping into the questionable Eee PC market. Maybe they want to prove the thing really works and see if anyone screams for them to come out (or license something from them?).As somebody that used to carry Palm III series PDAs all the time, and currently uses a Treo, i hope they get their s**t together while they still have any momentum left (i really believe they still do in terms of users/developers).

If this was a little smaller and was marketed as more of an EEEpc, it would be very successful. Oh yeah, and if it ran linux, it probably would have sold more.
