ImamNathan--ACORN has nothing to do with votes, they deal with REGISTRATION. This too has all been disproven, and Obama himself has asked for a special investigation.Obama's dark past? Like being president of Harvard Law Review, like being a successful lawyer, like being the young attorney at the top of his class that received over 600 job offers from the top law firms in the country before he even graduated from college? When are you people going to recognize that EVERY SINGLE lie has been disproven multiple times. Get a grip, he is a member of the US senate, and sits on the foreign relations committee. Do you really think our government is so profoundly inept that the Secret Service doesn't know everything about anyone that has access to Congressional chambers?I agree with soma710, why are you so scared of people with education and intelligence?
Even government officials are protected against libel and slander WITH MALICE.You know the kind, too. That's considered malice.Frankly I find it better to say something like "Death to the Islamofascists and their running dog lackeys". If you do not self-identify as an Islamofascist or a running dog, or a lackey, you're cool.If you do, on the other hand, self-identify as an Islamofascist (or I can come up with evidence that you are, in fact, an Islamofascist), you pronounce yourself guilty as charged, ergo, no slander, no libel. You understand the technique? Be obligue. There's little value in sayhing something like "Joe Biden sucks c**k" when, in fact, we all know that's the last thing Joe cares to do. On the other hand, since he's been around for such a long time and has come to depend on the gay vote in a couple of shore communities in Delaware, it's not likely Joe would even bother challenging such a statement since it might well gain him some votes. The invective hurled at Sarah Palin (who lives next door to a bunch of my more roughneck cousins) has been a bit over the top and shows little intellect behind it. If she wins she'll be bringing a bunch of those folks with her. They'll want to know where some of her critics live. I don't know what they intend to do, but I'm sure it'll be something not desirable to ahve happen. At the moment I imagine she, herself is happy to leave it up to the SS to track down and isolate those who really have violent intent. Don't you?
@DigPiglet: You must not have RTFA, being as there was a quick but good analysis of what she said and how it does NOT apply to the Fist Amendment. The First grants her the the right to say anything she wants (within reason, she cannot slander people), and it also grants the press the right to criticize her. She is actually the one who is more in danger of violating the Amendment by claiming that a free press cannot report, even if the report is critical. Also, it looks like your man lost, so you can suck it righttard. (I wouldn't have done that, except you threw an insult first, so fair game.)
Wow, anizzle, that was just a well thought out and articulated comment about why we should have voted for McCain/Palin. Unfortunately, me included, we were dumb and went the other way.And by dumb, I actually mean smart.

He could have picked Joe the Plumber as his running mate. I do believe that that would have been a worse choice.
