Thomas Jefferson would be apalled at the right wing courting of radical Christianity, and the "Swiftboating" tactics of the Republican party. He'd also be disgusted to the complete embrace of willful ignorance, and the scorning of educated and knowledgeable people as "elitest".And Sarah Palin being chosen as a potential leader of this country would make him loose complete faith in the ability of a people to govern themselves.
I am a conservative Republican and will not be voting for McCain.I would have voted for McCain in 2000 but that was before he sold his values and his morals to cozy up to the Neocons and their shameful policies. This Neo McCain is nothing like the old McCain, he really is just a Bush clone. He sold himself out to become the man he hated more than any other, George W Bush. That's the kind of change McCain now advocates and it's sickening.
You sir, have no taste, no class, and are unamerican. How can you make a statement like that? The very campaign that you wage against Obama is filled with trash, non-sense and fear mongering. I don't know why you are so scared of Obama, or why you think McCain/Palin is the answer to anything. Maybe it is an inherent lack of objectivity and intellect on your part. I have read many of your comments and they are all lacking any mention of issues, or anything of substance. You know you can't win on the issues, so you insist on distracting people from whats important by demonizing a man and instilling fear in others. What makes you any better than Bush, Cheney, and the rest? You are only helping to divide this country, and to create an atmosphere of hate and fear. If you and your ilk prevail, this country will only continue to move down a path of self destruction.
Yes, correct. Attempted guilt by association is a non-issue for me. Speaking of issues, your candidate cannot run his campaign on them, so instead resorts to ridiculous accusations. "Maverick" my butt.
