religiondispatches.org — In May 2008, Bruce Wilson, co-founder of the blog Talk2Action, made a short video featuring a recording of Pastor John Hagee preaching about how God had sent Hitler to hunt the Jews and force them to Israel. The media picked it up. In the '08 election Sarah Palin - whose church emphasizes miracle healing and raising the dead, got a pass.

Great, more evidence that Palin is delusional, irrational, and completely unsuited for any type of public office. I want sane people to be the folks with their finger on "the button".

Actually this is way different, because Obama wasn't even in church when those statements were video taped. This is Sarah Palin actively taking part in a f**king retarded religious ritual.Give up Loneranger, you're a useless idiot.

What is useless, is that we are now nearing 90 days since the current administration has been in place end you people are still focusing on the VP nominee for the candidate who lost the election, all the way back in November. Without even going all Anti-O, we simply have so much going on domestically and internationally. that maybe you might want to pay attention to April of 2009, rather than November of 2008?

Why is it that Palin's "new" Christianity is strange. ALL Christianity is strange, to put it mildly. ALL Religions are f**king retarded.

@flip2tripDon't worry, they're not "real Christians" anyhow.FTA: "Its leaders have openly declared that their aim of achieving worldwide biblical government ..."and"Charismatic manifestations as extreme as raising the dead aren’t what is problematic about Palin’s religious tendencies; Third Wave and NAR theology is militantly anti-pluralistic and anti-democratic, the quintessence of Christian religious supremacy."Hmmm, militant religious nuts who wish to achieve a worldwide biblical government. That sounds similar to the goal of radical Middle East religions. Maybe we should overlook that small fact, since they are Christians. It sounds to me like I'll just be shooting back in the defense of our country.

Not really, people's ethics will be called religious if that's the framework their society runs in. I don't give God X too much credit for the actions of followers. I believe most people are basically decent whether it's rationalized as God's work or not.

I'm actually happy enough for the religious fringe to be so obviously crazy, it discredits the religious mainstream which is (objectively) almost as crazy but more widely accepted.

See flip Sparky is joking, whereas the people in this article are NOT joking. BIG differance,

"Religious morals have shaped all of history, " No they haven't. "removing them is an experiment few have tried, save some very inhumane regimes."Yeah, like Sweden,Denmark and Norway.
