nick1971 - The problem and solution are more philosophical. If you believe in a managed economy, you will certainly love this move. Even if you don't you might think it is a good move because the consequences of doing nothing are potentially very bad. There is however a percentage of the population that believes that this cure is worse than the disease.I would probably argue that the consequences of these bad decisions need to be paid by those that make them and not socialized. If the government would just allow the market to find equilibrium and then get out of the money business (Federal Reserve), we would all be better off.You can think of our debt system like a heroin addict. If someone is going through withdrawals it might be easier on them to give the a fix but I don't consider that a good long term strategy. At some point the actual problem (the addiction) needs to be addressed. The problem for the US is the monetary inflation caused by reckless spending and some types of counter productive government regulation and guarantees.
I love American politics , Just when you think you are turning the corner and you have got rid of the idiot , it seems like another ones ready and waiting to take his spot . :)
You missed the point. Of course. The point was that the MSM gives Obama a pass on his gaffes while the lefty Huffpo crowd cries about not being tough enough on McCain. And I disagree with you second statement. I think burying is exactly about disagreeing with the premise of the articles. And one more thing.....I wish he would come out as a muslim....that would end his chances for the presidency immediately....And it looks like the Koran allowns muslims to kill infidels whenever they want.
WHERE IN HER STATEMENT DID SHE SAY BAILOUT? YOU ARE TRYING TO RATIONALIZE HER ECONOMIC IGNORANCE. SHE SAID WHAT SHE SAID, AND YOU SAYING ""I'M PRETTY SURE SHE WAS TRYING TO SAY...." IS BASELESS AND STUPID.
it doesn't matter that Palin doesn't know the issues, she looks damn good in those glasses. Isn't it obvious that her Journalism degree vastly outweighs Obama's Harvard Law degree and his experience. she is a mayor and Governor who can tell people what to do and how to live and Obama is a community organizer who can "bring the community together to get things done" which is not leadership at all. shut and do what hockey mom says.

Wait, didn't Kerry turn out to have worse grades at Yale than Bush?

Why is it that every time Palin says anything, we need someone to translate it so that it can be correctly interpreted?
