blogs.abcnews.com — Rick Davis, campaign manager for Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., just told Fox News Channel's Chris Wallace that McCain running mate Gov. Sarah Palin won't subject herself to any tough questions from reporters "until the point in time when she'll be treated with respect and deference."

Didn't Obama hide from Fox for 700+ days. How can a man run the country if he can't answer tough questions from Fox news?

She just keeps putting it off so she can do her homework assignments on American politics. Everyone in their right mind knows Joe Biden will absolutely destroy her in the VP debates.Obama/Biden '08!

In other words, the press isn't allowed to ask her any hard questions like "Can you find Iraq on a map?"

twomeyw: Obama has stated repeatedly that he is a Christian. Asking the same question over and over again is not useful. Palin has not yet been grilled on many issues, including her ties to the AIP.There's a huge difference between growing up in a Muslim country and therefore being repeatedly hounded with xenophobic questioning despite being a practicing Christian, and answering for your decision to align yourself with a political organisation with a very specific policy focus. If Palin never favoured secession, why was she so active with the secessionist party? An irrelevant and false personal attack trolling on anti-Muslim sentiment is a far cry from a politician explaining her past political affiliations. Once Palin has been thoroughly vetted by the media on questions such as this, taking them off the table might not be so unreasonable. Refusing to comment on them at all while running for high office is an insult to this country.

The only reason she hasn't said anything is because she is really not quality for the job. She only been the govern for what 20 months and now she running for VP??? that crazy. not only did she but alaska in debt but she tried to make it independent for the United States. She and her husband was campaigning that the US government was full of s**t. She didn't say it in those words but you get the point. Now is that somebody that we want to put as our president??? Really think about that!! Of cours that bitch has something to hide.

The questions when Gibson interviewed Obama:How does it feel to break a glass ceiling? How does it feel to “win”?How does your family feel about your “winning” breaking a glass ceiling?Who will be your VP?Should you choose Hillary Clinton as VP?Will you accept public finance? What issues is your campaign about? Will you visit Iraq? Will you debate McCain at a town hall? What did you think of your competitor’s [Clinton] speech?(Wow that was real tough vetting)The questions when Gibson interviewed Palin:Do you have enough qualifications for the job you’re seeking? Specifically have you visited foreign countries and met foreign leaders?Aren’t you conceited to be seeking this high level job?Questions about foreign policy-territorial integrity of Georgia-allowing Georgia and Ukraine to be members of NATO-NATO treaty-Iranian nuclear threat-what to do if Israel attacks Iran-Al Qaeda motivations-the Bush Doctrine (which has no distinct definition)-attacking terrorists harbored by PakistanIs America fighting a holy war? [misquoted Palin] Glenn Reynolds says candidates should take their own cameras and film the whole thing so that they can keep the media honest. Not a bad idea
