do you consider our emission output to be "part of a natural cycle"?
wunkstaOct 30, 2008
we are putting more co2 into the atmosphere than all the volcanos in the world by more than a factor of 10we are putting out tons of methane and no2 as well as water vaporthe climate has changed in the past, but because of specific reasons. solar variation, milakovitch cycles and ghg emissions are the main causes. out of those, ghg emissions are the only thing (that we know of) that has changed dramatically in the last few hundred years. if you feel that somethings not being addressed, or is being over looked, please provide it or write it up and submit it to a peer reviewed journal. they, as well as everyone here, would appreciate your insight and knowledge into the matter.

Scientists don't have a political agenda, stop making it a partisan issue

I wouldn't mention it either. The subject is broad and there can be a lot more to it then we all tend to think. Don't get me wrong, I just want to see her naked, but this and immigration has been avoided lately and not really touched on at all. Obama touched on it, McCain touched on it. It is a crisis, neither one of these candidates is going to do what they say anyway.Let me ask you this, if you're an energy expert. How much did it effect the environment by building that computer we are all using? Hmmm, how about the servers used to store all this information? How about the internet? I'm just saying, you don't think these have had an impact? Some chic in Alaska doesn't know. Most people commenting here probably don't know. And I sure don't know. :)

No it just means that they are falling for the environmentalists Red Herring. The real issue is control and the furthering of their cause, which is ultimately to neuter humanity back to the stone ages to save the Earth. It's a farce. Environmentalists are ego driven, not fact driven, and any semblance of a 'fact' in their favor is pounced upon and shoved down everyone's throat. Some people buy into it. Others don't.
