That is not what she said, She said she would be in charge of the Senate and would get in there and push policy. President of the senate is only a ceremonial position and the only real power the V.P has is to break a tie vote in the senate. Tie votes almost never happen. So instead of saying I will be president of the senate and break tie votes she said I will be in charge and push policy.

GOP dismissals about public concerns Palin's ignorance on her possible duties along with the $150,000 wardrobe fiasco is two more sign of Republicans trying to dress up an unqualified candidate. Reports on mainstream media today confirm that Palin has strengthened support for McCain within the hard-core Republican base, but she's harmed McCain among moderate Republicans and independents. I've read itI don't think that indicates that the vice president has some sort of supreme, unyielding, ultimate executive power and authority over the senate, and I believe the people who wrote it would agree with me.

Oh how I long for the day when the VP just had spelling problems. Palin seriously makes me want to throw up. In charge of the Senate huh? Maybe she just thinks that there are a lot of ties or something. Surely she can't be that much of a moron........right? Please America VOTE! Do not let this idiot anywhere near Washington. Alaska really isn't far enough away for her. I wish Russia still had that Siberia exile plan going on? She would be such a great candidate for that.
