Yeah! That Hellfire missile cost the US government $65,000, and I certainly am not willing to spend my share of a fiftieth of a cent to stop international terrorist kingpins.

An AGM-114M Hellfire II missile (Carried by Predators and Reapers) costs $65,000, a GBU-12 Paveway II guided bomb (just carried by Reapers) costs $19,000. We previously had a $5,000,000 bounty on his head, which was set aside during the Bush administration. money that is now free for other uses.We can't even execute a mass-murderer here for anywhere near that price, please explain how this was a waste of your money.

Hindsight is excellent, but only useful now for helping us make future decisions.

Your comment makes very little sense. If killing a single chief "means nothing," what good will finding Bin Laden do?

@Tiak: Those are just the bullets. How much for the guns and overpaid gunmen and air delivery personnel? I think I could sell you a nice bridge. Oh, I guess you already have bought several in Iraq haven’t you. International terrorists my ass. Even if you succeed in making Afghanistan as modern as Egypt and Saudi Arabia I doubt they will ever be able to pull off a 911 like the former did. With goombas like this it is little wonder the MIC is ripping us off this much.
