sports.espn.go.com— "Despite still feeling the effects of a possible slight concussion and pinched nerve in his neck, Brett Favre expects to play Sunday against St. Louis."

Without Favre, I garuntee you that the Packers would be 0-4. The Packers actually should be 2-2, the Saints game should have been a win. Rogers isn't ready at all. If a coach takes out Favre he will be the most hated coach in NFL history. If you live in Wisconsin like I do you would understand this. Favre has been the talk of the state for over 10 years now. He only has 2 recievers to throw to, Jenkins and Driver. Driver had a s**tty game and you can't put your faith on Jenkins because he is a rookie. The secondary blows, and the Packer defense isn't doing their job either. As long as Favre can walk, he will play. Even if he can only limp he will still play, and will still play better than Rogers. The only thing right now that is keeping the Packers alive is their huge fan support. The biggest fan support in the NFL. If you take Favre away, you take fans away. He is just too fun to watch.
"Yeah, you're right, once you go 1-3, there's no way you can make the playoffs...especially since there are 16 games."I think what he is getting at is that the early part of their schedule was considered by many to be much easier than the upcoming games. New Orleans and Detroit are considered cupcakes this year and should have been easy wins after the tough start against Chicago. Philly was missing Westbrook, and they are not the same team as in years past. New Orleans is unproven and besides a good HB are lacking the skill necessary to be a powerhouse. With Da Bears looking unstoppable and Minnesota probably being able to hold out for 9 wins, Green Bay honestly has very little chance of making the playoffs this year. For a team that has 1 win that has an honest shot to make the playoffs look at Pittsburgh. It hurts me inside to say it, but they are a great team with enough raw talent to get past injuries and mistakes. (I'm from Cleveland, that's why it kills me to say that)
Anyone who thinks the Packers will make the playoffs this is just a moron. Stop listening to all 'Pundits' on Sports talk shows who say things like "well if they just get a top receiver they can be in the hunt." Favre is way past his prime and should step aside and mentor Rogers which would allow the Pakers to decide if they need to draft another QB next year. Favre is starting to look like Joe Montana did with the Chiefs.....OLD!!!

Just a quick correction, it's Greg Jennings, not Jenkins. I don't want to sound like a know-it-all, I was just correcting it for future diggers.
