I with too little too late, it cannot beat nintendo, but it certainly holds it's own place in the handheld market.

"You must be too young to remember Sega Gamegear. It was a much bigger competitor for Nintendo than the PSP ever was"PSP outsold the Gamegear in less than 6 months. The original Gameboy sold more than the DS.PSP has 33% marketshare. GG had around 15%Therefore, Gamegear was less of a competitor than the PSP.

One could certainly make the case for it not coming with a big ENOUGH Memory Stick, though. The bundled one is good for game saves and a couple pictures and songs, but little else. The guy did say "fully use its' capabilities," after all. People are talking about all the emulation, and movie storage, and ISO mounting... ;-)Of course to add those capabilities to the DS you'd have to shell the $$ for extra parts, too. Certainly the PSP has more of that built-in, and an easier time utilizing it. (Essentially... get a big Memory Stick! Heh.)
