rumorreporter.com — More details included in the link but here are some of the details thus far:- New slimmer PSP is indeed in the works. Hardware is essentially the same, and will NOT have any big speed increases.- There’s no longer a UMD Tray, but a slot loader instead. Design is supposed to have an even “cleaner” look, much like the DS Lite.

hmm, buy a psp.i guess I could use it to play games and movies on the bus. I mean sure the loading times will be inconvient, the fact that it takes up a lot of space, and the games take up 4 times as much space as DS games (this is however solved by the lack of appealing PSP games)well that sounds like a lot more effort then something I can just pull out of my pocket and start playing instantly, and putting back in my pocket straight away.maybe for at home, I could watch movies on it at home.but wait, I already have a 19" widescreen on my computer, larger screen + more storage.maybe it just couldnt decide whether or not to be a portable device or not

Well a dramatic increase in battery life could make the UMD format usable. In my opinion. I used to have a PSP, sold it cause of lack of games. Well now I'm regreting that, due to the variety of great games coming out.

I love how ppl make excuses about loading faster from memory sticks and leaving the psp in hibernate mode or watever. That sure seems like a lot of hassle since all I have to do is turn my DS on and I'm in the game.Or just flip the screen...PSP FTL
