I assume we all play on TV's no larger than 23 inches correct? With a 23 inch TV, it is IMPOSSIBLE to tell the difference between 720 and 1080. You can see when you're using windows why smaller pixels are better, they mean you have more workspace. But when you're playing a fullscreen game on your computer and set the resolution, you can tell that there is no difference between 800x600 and 1024x768 that the human eye can see, unless you have a REALLY big monitor.

@Digman, I Agree.like with what i posted in an earlier comment, theres no need for these types of rumors . its basically flame bait crap put out here to make people mad . plus untill we have the product in our hands we cant say they havent delivered what they promised hardware and performance wise. just like everything else theres no need to get jumpy . we all have our preferences as for consoles and game play and here we all are doing the same thing we do with every new console release bashing the other system that hasnt entered the ring yet to through a punch back. so sit back and relax. rumors are stupid on both sides.
