"Play B3YOND" should be "Just Wait"next xmas the ps3 probably will look decent w/ MGS comming out. Till then...its a pos gaming console, its a crappy linux box, can't play old games. . . PS3- "Just Wait"/me goes back to play Gears on XBL. =)

There are no "quick patches" in the console world. The regression testing and QA make up the largest part of the development.The video creator makes the same silly assumption with his "simple firmware update" comment. He's obviously spent zero time in the development world.(and No, I'm not defending Sony, I'm a happy Xbox and Xbox 360 owner and have no interest in Sony's console products)

dissapointing...when I first heard about PS3 I was all into it and was like f**k wii and xbox 360 (like a year ago). But now, I am leading towards 360 and wii...It's hard for me to choose which one to get

@OMGWTFROFLMAOAs much as I dislike your name ;P I do agree. If you've played a PC, then all consoles are just trying to keep up. However, this is not a comparison between PS2/PS3 and PC. It's between PS2 games being played ON a PS2 or PS3. Anyone who is really bringing up that graphics look like crap compared to ____, really doesn't get the point of the video.

Sony has always been about proprietary formats. PC gaming is best because you can tweak everything. The 8800 GTX already blows away any console graphics system.

@HappyScrappy - Sony must love customers like you who pay $500-$600 and admit that the PS3 is unfinished and say it doesn't matter. If all of their customers had that attitude, there would be no incentive for them to fix the problems now would there? And you should care about the problems they have that don't affect you. You have a vested interest in the PS3 succeeding, so you should hope that their product appeals to as many people as possible.

Well, it's good to see that Sony has truly half-assed everything about the PS3 except for the hype. And this is from someone who used to call himself a pseudo PS fanboy.

Man, I just don't know why everyone has to bash... It's one thing for people to let it be known they are unhappy with the performance of their PS3 right now, but then for some reason it has to turn into a contest between the consoles... I own several consoles, 2 XBoxes, 2 PS2s, 1 X360, a Gamecube and N64, etc... I'm not a fanboy of any one brand, I just buy what appeals to me. I got my 360 just a little over a month ago and love it, IMO the best console I've ever seen. Am I going to drone on about how PS3 sucks because I happen to like the 360? The 360 has it's shortcomings just like the PS3 or Wii, none of them are the perfect system. But I like what the 360 has to offer, I like how modular it is, and I love the games... So far, I haven't seen anything from the PS3 that appeals to me, especially at that price. But who knows, late 2007 or early 2k8, maybe Sony will work out the kinks and drop the (IMHO) really high price tag, and I might grab one too... But just because the system doesn't appeal to me right now doesn't mean it "blows chunks".Although, I do think that BluRay is the next Betamax, but that's just my opinion on it... And if I'm wrong, who knows? We might see a BluRay attachment for the 360... ;)
